A wonderful place

 Hi guys:

The Place I would like to visit in Chile is Torres Del Paine National Park in the Punta Arenas Region near of the Andes Range and the Magallanica steppe; it is one of the places most important and wonderful of Chile for me, with a special landscape, flora and fauna. I like the Torres Del Paine because it is a special and mystic place, where you can to visit a lot of places as the different peaks of the Torres Del Paine, the Grey and Pehoe lakes, the Grey and Dickson glaciers, rivers and mountains. Torres Del Paine is a place where you can practice trekking, sailings, fishing, horse-riding and hikes on the ice in the different landscapes and places of the park; you can watch the nature, the thousand years old ices and the alerce woods inone of the places most wonderful in the world. Perhaps in the future I will can visit Torre Del Paine National Park, I must to save a lot of money because is very expansive to travel to Punta Arenas and to lodge in the hostels near of the park.

It is one of my favourite places, but also I would like visit all the south of Chile, the Araucania region, Llanquihue Lake, the Los Lagos region, Chiloe and specially Valdivia. I love too much the south of Chile.

Hi guys:

My favorite photo it is one where I was a child I had 3 years old, an uncle took the photo in the house of my grandmother, in the photo I was with my favorite cousins Diego, Raul, I played the guitar. We were very young and we looked very happy, we were innocent children.

I was very different in those days I’ve changed so much, I had the hair very curly, I was chubby and I had chubby cheeks now I am very slim. I used dungarees and shoes, the clothes that I used were of a hippie style, shirts with psicodelics designs and wool waistcoat. I liked my hair a lot, it is what I miss the most.

This photo is very special because it is the last time that we were all together in a long time. My cousin Raul travelled to the United States, I saw him when I was 7 years old for the last time, he came back the past year, and he is now 25 years old. Diego is a lawyer; he has 26 years old now. We have changed a lot, now I don’t know how to play the guitar, my hair it’s very different, the times have changed but now we are together again like in the photo.

There are movies that are good but Star Wars is the best for me, Star Wars, it is an excellent movie, it is a master piece, it is my favorite movie. Star Wars ¨the Phantom Menace¨ was the first movie that I saw in the cinema; I saw the first movies of Star Wars in video or VHS, a new hope, the empire strikes back and the return of the Jedi.

I always dreamed to be a Jedi, be able to fight with a laser sword, use the force and travel for the space in a spacecraft. I like the drama of the movie, the technology, the music, the empire, the rebels, the spacecraft and the dark side of the force. The jedys and the siths represent the fight between the good and evil. Also the movie has a love story between Anakin and Amidala, a story that changes the course of the movie.

My favorite character is Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader; they represent very well the opposite sides of the force. I like the music of the imperial march and the respiration of Darth Vader. When I saw the last movie of Star Wars “the revenge of the siths” I felt that a cycle had ended and finally I knew how Anakin turned to the dark side and how the long saga was complete.

Journey

Hi guys:

My journey was 4 years ago. I travel with two cousins and some friends to Viña del Mar after a party; the journey was an idea of a friend. We didn´t have much money, I had $8000 pesos for the bus tickets, the food and other things. We stayed in an apartment in Agua Santa for three days with the uncle of a friend, we didn´t have much money so we walked all day through the city, eventually we were hungry and tired because of the trip, so because of the lack of money things started to be a bit complicated.

But I didn’t know Viña del Mar, I visited a lot of places, I took a lot of photos and I had a great time. That was one of the last journeys  that we shared, we were very close in those moments. One of our friends moved to Brasil and the others don’t have time to come to our meetings due to their jobs or their studies, but I see my cousins regularly. I hope that we will have a meeting soon so we can start another funny journey and share some good moments like the old times.

Hello guys

I´d like travel around the world and I´d like know others countries but I´ve been not very lucky, I´ve have never travel. The country I´d like to visit is Spain because I speak Spanish but the most important is that I really like the traditions, the culture, the history, the music (flamenco music and rumba flamenca), the Mediterranean coast, the Spanish woman and other things. I´d like to visit Barcelona, Seville, Madrid and Valencia, I´m interested in Arabic influence in Spain and know the Arabic palaces and the castles in Spain, especially in the region of Andalucía. I´d like visit Barcelona city (the condal city) and I´d like to visit the Camp Nou stadium. I would visit the Mediterranean coast and the beaches of Barcelona and Mallorca. Well I hope to someday have the opportunity to travel Spain and I´d like visit others countries like Italy, France and England specially Liverpool city. Spain alive and I say ¡Ole!.

the book of the rings

I like to read in my free time, I like the books of history. My favorites subjects are historical novels and books of travels and adventures. The last book I have read is a very good book, the title is The Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring) and the author is J.J.R.Tolkien. A friend lent me this book and I started reading it two weeks ago, I have never read this book, I have only seen the movies in the past, so I feel the need to read it to know more about the other stories as well. The book and the story are a real masterpiece; on the middle earth we can see very different cultures, races, history, languages, myths and beliefs as the social organization as well. These characteristics are the best of the book.  I dislike about the book that it have too many long stories that are not relevant, and that is a bit boring. Now I will read the next two books of the trilogy, the two towers and The return of the king.
